I was wondering, has anyone here tried to bring their sprites to life by hooking them up to their computer and animating them through a combination of esoteric programming and a collection of images converted into some sort of informative data.

Sorry, I got distracted by the title. What I meant to ask was if anyone had ever tried to fuse their sprites by means other than an iron? I know some compounds such as super glue and model cement will liquefy some plastics. Has anyone tried to use one of those open-air electric pizza cookers (the pizza sits on a rotating base beneath a circular heating element)? The reason I ask is that I'm still having problems getting a consistent look to my sprites and it's becoming increasingly frustrating because most of the other sprites posted here look phenomenal (even the huge ones!). I don't know if it's my technique or the iron. |
