I used perler peach on my Megaman and thought it was perfect. While the perler tan wouldn't be a bad choice, it makes for a very olive skin tone. Hama flesh, if that's what you're talking about, it definitely too dark and pink. Peach, I think, looks good on just about everybody.

Perler peach is definetly the way to go. Unless you want megaman to have that "just at the beach" look lol

I've started using 3 colors for skin: (Perler Peach, Perler Tan, and Hama Flesh) in order to depict the nuances of shading. So far, I've been really pleased with the results.

But if you're doing a relatively small piece where shading is not indicated, I'd definitely go with Perler Peach most of the time. If I think a piece would look better with a somewhat darker complexion, I go with Hama Flesh.

Hope this helps.

I usually go by which color is closest for 8-bit sprites - if I'm doing 16 or 32-bit, I come as close as I can while keeping the same number of levels of shading on the sprite, which sometimes means a greater range of dark to light due to the limited colors. For Mega Man, Perler Peach is the way to go.

As far as multi-shaded skin tones, I use everything from Hama Dark Brown to Perler Peach. I find the best option for me, especially with sprites with brown clothing and skin tones, so there is a difference between the clothing and skin overall, is this:

Clothing:
Perler Brown, Perler Light Brown, Perler Tan, Creme White (if there is a shine)

Skin:
Hama Brown, Perler Light Brown, Hama Light Brown, Hama Flesh, Perler Peach

If you throw in the lighter brown colors from either scheme to the other, there is a difference in the warmth of the shades. Hama Browns tend to be warmer in tone (redish) and Perler tends to be cooler in tone (blueish), so I stick to that scheme usually.
