I had this idea from a friend who asked me this question and it is actually really hard to answer. With this post I'm sure there will be tons of edits. Make a CD of all your favorite songs. Now that sounds easy, but this has got to be a soundtrack that encompasses songs that span your life. Also something that makes this difficult is that it has to be a soundtrack that will stand the test of time and still be your favorite songs. Without further ado...

1. No Leaf Clover - Metallica
2. Emergency - Paramore
3. Wait and Bleed - Slipknot
4. Jeremy - Pearl Jam
5. Binge - Papa Roach
6. Nobody's Listening - Linkin Park
7.
8.
9.
10.
11.
12.
13.
14.
15.

Like I said lots of editing. I will work on this later Razz

This is a bit different then the life soundtrack game I was expecting. The one where you turn your music player on shuffle, see what comes up and match it to a list of what that song represents in your life.

I cant remember what order the list went in, but I remember that my 'Break-up song' was "Heart Break Hotel" by Elvis.

Hmm, this is an interesting idea. I will have to give it some thought... and crack out some of the old music I have lying around.

I've been meaning to post to this topic since you first wrote it but I've had trouble coming up with a good list. I'll start with some college related tracks, since that's all I can really remember in reference to music at the moment. There are a lot of the same artists, since I listened to a lot of the same cd's back then.

Ben Harper - Roses From My Friends
Ben Harper - Walk Away
Ben Folds Five - Narcolepsy
The Police - Every Little Thing She Does
The Anniversary - Sweet Marie
The Dust Brothers - Medula Oblongata
Pedro The Lion - Big Trucks
Pedro The Lion - When They Really Get to Know You They Will Run
Keller Williams - Kidney in a Cooler
Ben Folds Five - The Luckiest
The Smoking Popes - Mrs. You and Me
Ben Harper - Forever
Jimmy Eat World - Table for Glasses
Ben Folds Five - Song for the Dumped
Ben Folds - Zak and Sara
Ben Harper - Burn One Down
The Postal Service - Nothing More
The Strokes - Reptillia
Rilo Kiley - The Good That Wont Come Out
Death Cab For Cutie - Title and Registration
The Doors - Alabama Song
Nada Surf - Blankest Year

That's all I got for now - I guess mine is a two-disc set, haha.

I've been putting this off because I need more time to think, but here goes nothing.

So anyway, I've been listening to Deja Entendu by Brand New on repeat for... well, a ridiculously long time now because I fully believe it's the most perfect album ever made. I would say that this could very well be the soundtrack of my life as it covers pretty much the full range of human imperfections. HOWEVER, that would be cheating SO...

1. Sic Transit Gloria... Glory Fades - Brand New (Deja Entendu)
2. I Will Play My Game Beneath the Spin Light - Brand New (Deja Entendu) 3. Okay I Believe You, but My Tommy Gun Don't - Brand New (Deja Entendu)
4. The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot - Brand New (Deja Entendu)
5. All I Ask of You - Phantom of the Opera
6. La Vie Boheme - RENT
7. Life Support - RENT
8. You Can Do Better Than Me - Death Cab for Cutie (Narrow Stairs)
9. I Will Follow You Into The Dark - Death Cab for Cutie (Plans)
10. Dancing - Elisa (Then Comes the Sun)
11. For Katie - Kimya Dawson
12. Lithium - Nirvana (Nirvana)
13. The Prettiest Thing - Norah Jones
14. Every You Every Me - Placebo (Without You I'm Nothing)
15. Such Great Heights - The Postal Service (Give Up)
16. Clark Gable - The Postal Service (Give Up)
17. Brand New Colony - The Postal Service (Give Up)
18. Natural Anthem - The Postal Service (Give Up)
19. Lucky - Radiohead (OK Computer)
20. Atoms for Peace- Thom Yorke (The Eraser)
21. Between Breaths (An XX Perspective) - Blaqk Audio (Cexcells)
22. The Fear of Being Found - Blaqk Audio (Cexcells)

I could go on for a while. Let me stop now.
