I use both Hama & Perler beads. Heavier on the Perler brand though, since I live in the US.

Does anybody know...

If the Hama brand beads have any different shades of Blue vs. Perler?

Perler beads have the following shades available (Pictures here... http://www.koolstuff4kids.com/perler-beads.html
Neon Blue (Transparent,)
Dark Blue
Toothpaste (Aptly named)
Pastel blue
periwinkle (Kind of blue-purple)
light blue

I need more different shades of blue and I need to know if Hama makes any others. They make several shades of red not made by perler (Ex. Hama has "Burgundy" and "Dark Red.")
I need to know if it's the same way with Blue.

In my 16bit Taimat I used six shades of blue... and two were from hama (you can see that they melted differently)

I used hama's light blue (what they call it) for the darkest part of Taimat.
Next is Perler's Light blue.
Then Perler's turquoise (new color)
Then Hama's turquiose
Then Perler's pastel blue
and lastly Perler's toothpaste...

As you can figure, I didn't use Perler's dark blue. It was too dark, so I used Hama's Light blue (inbetween perler's light and dark blue) as the darkest... Funny enough though is hama's dark blue is the same as perler's... Oh and the toothpaste was the lightest blue which is only on her main head, neck, and left arm...

I think I'm going to create my own color chart... I'll keep ya posted...
