Hi, I'm fairly new to making bead sprites (since March '09), but have used perler beads ever since I was a little kid.

Does anybody have any advice on what to do when a peg board warps? I have perler boards (the purple ones, if it makes a difference... but I've had the same problem on the white ones too).

Honestly once a pegboard warps, it's warped and there is nothing you can do about it. Sad It kinda sucks (especially since I have about 12 of them I ruined when I first tried to learn how to iron correctly). My best advice to you is that whenever you bead, iron the sprite just long enough for the beads to stick to each other, then pull the sprite off of the board and finish ironing it on a flat surface. That keeps the board from heating up to the point of warping. You should also make sure the flat surface you iron on isn't something that is going to melt or bubble up (such as varnished tables ^.^;) Good luck!
