What do you do in your free time?

I'd imagine videogames are the #1 answer.

That's mine, anyway. Smile

Other than beading I'm...

1) Writing a book (brainstorming phase currently)
2) Reading (Brother Odd by Dean Koontz currently)
3) Watching anime (Pumpkin Scissors and Venus Versus Virus currently)
4) Searching the net for all things bead-sprites (discontinued colors, more sprites, etc)

and yes... 5) playing Video games (currently Makai Kingdom (at home) and Final Fantasy IV Advance (travel))

I tried to make Video games NOT number one, but in reality it is number one (considering the traveling factor)

I'm getting back into video games now. I've been kind of out-of-touch with games for the last 4 & 1/2 years of my life while pursuing a degree... but with my bachelor's degree and a minor safely under my belt, I actually feel free to, you know, enjoy life again.
And that means that my boyfriend got me a Nintendo DS for Christmas and I've been playing games on that for awhile. I don't think I've ever bought this many games in such a short period of time ever before. I got like 10 games in 6 months and I have no idea when I'm going to get around to playing them all.

I work full-time at a small, local auditing firm. That means I am an auditor.
One day I think it would be neat to get into forensic accounting, but it will take me at least 10+ years to get the requisite experience needed to go in there. Plus I'll need to get my CPA liscence first, which is going to take me awhile...

I like books, most of the time. I say most of the time because, the most recent one I completed was Eragon, which I absolutely hated. I want my couple hours of life back! Oh wow, mommy and daddy own a publishing company, good 4 u. Yeah if my mommy and daddy owned a publishing company, *I* coulda published something at age 19 too. And it woulda been better!
The ones I completed before that which I liked much more were the last 3 books in the EarthSea series, which is actually 6 books long now.

I am a feminist. Particularly interesting areas to me include but are not limited to, women's health, women in business and advertisements, and tolerance.

I want to get back into drawing & art. High school art class + college no-time-for-fun kinda killed my artistic drive... To that end, I have a wacom drawing tablet, adobe illustrator, photoshop, flash, and a bunch of anatomy books because I need to learn wtf I'm doing. I figure I'll get back into art once I get this here beading out of my system. Whenever that is.

Free time? What's that? Sad
But other than doing schoolwork 24/7...
Papercraft. I'd say that other than making bead-sprites, papercraft is my favourite hobby at the moment. Printing out models on 260 gsm Bristol board isn't making my printer very happy, though...
I also enjoy drawing, or at least attempting to. I usually end up throwing away more than I keep. Embarassed
Video games are, of course, a large part of my free time as well. I'm currently finishing up LoZ:TP on my Wii, as well as Shadow of the Colossus and Okami on the PS2. I play World of Warcraft quite a bit, though I'm re-downloading it at the moment as my computer doesn't want to run the patcher. Mad
I also like to read. A lot. I'm a very fast reader. (I read 300+ page books in a few hours... is that bad? All of my friends seem to think so. xD)

That's really all I can think of at the moment.

7. Making some papercraft, but it always landing in my trash-can Laughing

doing things with our 2 dogs. agility and racing are my main activities with dogs. I also traing agility to other ppl.

reading lots of all kind of books.

doing other things with computers like reading and writing several forums ;)

different handicrafts, most with different beads or pearls.
funny that at first my c-lh was kind of smiling to my Hama bead things but them when he saw pacman ghosts he started giving me advice that what is wrong with them and saying that the purple ghost is wrong shade (didn't have the right color) Very Happy

I absolutely enjoy doing hands-on projects and hobbies. Before I discovered bead-sprites, I enjoyed making chainmail (like the medieval kind, you know what I'm talking about), making and commissioning props for anime conventions and the like, and lockpicking (an awesome hobby I picked up a while ago during high school).

Belive it or not, I rarely play video games. However, pretty much everything I do is some way based on them.
It's the nostalgia factor.

I write novels.
I design flash.
I model in 3-d.
I paint pixelated nudes.
I play piano vg covers.
I remix vg music.
I mix original vg inspired tunes.
I watch anime: cowboy bebop, flcl and random stuff my girl likes.
and
I attempt to spend time with my girlfriend...which has grown increasingly difficult with more working hours.
I picked up 60 this week, including a double-split-triple.

I'm tired...sleepy time.

I attempt to be a college student, though that doesn't often go over so well (I HATE MY SCHOOL ARGH ARGH ARGH WHY DOES NO ONE COOL EXIST AT NOTRE DAME).

I dabble in all sorts of other crafts- knitting, polymer clay, metalsmithing (always wanted to try chainmail!), sewing/embroidery, ceramics- just nothing that involves paper and paint or pencils; I never could get the hang of 2-D.

I'm an internet addict and most of my friends are somewhat far away from me, so I'm usually at the computer.

I'm trying to learn to ride a unicycle.

I also read a lot of fantasy/sci-fi, and follow manga/anime when there's time. Used to be a LOT more into it than I am now.

When other people are actually around, there are board games (Munchkin, Risk, Settlers of Catan, etc), and video games (duh) but I don't actually like playing video games by myself.

My boyfriend is a huge DDR/ITG freak, so at least some of my free time is spent at arcades. I've successfully managed to use that as bead-sorting time, though, or whatever other hobbies are portable enough to bring along.

I used to play Magic a lot more often, and enjoyed D&D when there were actually people around to make up a campaign, but honestly there's so much going on life-wise right now that I don't have time or energy to re-pursue those as hobbies. Sorry, Wizards.

I'm pretty big into DDR (I put this in a category by itself instead of throwing it in with other video games; truly it is its own hobby) but there aren't any arcades anywhere near me.

I also play Dungeons & Dragons about once a week.

Recently I've started playing Magic: the Gathering again (I sold my whole collection for money to buy tickets to "Distant Worlds" in Chicago).

Any other free time is normally spent with my girlfriend doing whatever we feel like at the time.

Other things I do that take up a significantly smaller amount of time would be playing Axis & Allies, Munchkin, and Risk.

I also read... a lot.

I have my own ddr mat at home, so I play that a lot, too...

Otherwise, its Rock Band/videogames, reading, or sitting there staring into space ^_^

Golf, strangling small animals, and masturbation.

Very Happy

Actually, music (Beatles in par-tickler), reading, television, cooking and baking, and spending countless lost hours on the internets.

I make 3-D pixilated NES wallpapers, though they've been put on the back burner as of late. Here's a link to some I've put on dA. Fellow old school video game geeks will appreciate these:

http://nes--still-the-best.deviantart.com/gallery/#Nintendo-wallpapers

I'm a musician. I try to be a 'Jack of all trades', instrument-wise, though I predominantly write for the guitar and piano.

I have 3 rabbits that I adore far more than anything or anyone else on Earth.

I've been a huge NFL fan for over 20 years, although this Patriots shit the last few years has really been turning me off to it; soooo grateful that the Giants knocked them off their high horse. Laughing

And of course video games, but roughly 98% of what I play is either 8 or 16-bit.

Hm, free time...thats such an odd word, I think I remember having it before I joined the working world. HA!

I play video games, alot. Both on my PC and on my numerous consoles. I haven't had a chance to obtain alot of the old school consoles yet, but that will be changing. However for now I have the 360, and the Wii. The PS2 and PS1, 2 Nintendos, 1 SNES, DS Lite, PSP. So I play alot og games.

I build PCs in my spare time, especially with me starting work for a company called Digital Storm. We build the best of the best on the market basically at the lowest prices possible. So if you ever want the computer of your dreams, come see me, I promise you it will be done right.

I also read, im into GeoCaching (check it out, its a geek thing, so alot of you would be into it if your as big a geek as I am), I do papercrafts, like scrapbooking, etc.

I'm constantly picking up random and off the wall hobbies. Like the time I started a rubber band ball at work, just because we had so many in my desk drawer. So yeah.

besides video games(namely call of duty 4) i am usually wrenching on my car, preping or fixing it to go to the track. i got into track drifting about 2 years ago, and to me, nothing even compares to the rush you get when you own the course. oh yeah ... i have a 90 nissan 240sx. i also like to play paintball, which is another expensive hobby, or golf.
