Hello, after my wife saw my huge interest in videogame bead creations on flickr she got me a set and I went to work and made several small creations. I just found this site and although I'm at work right now I will be posting my creations as I go. I already went through most of the beads I got for christmas so I'm eagerly wating for my ebay purchases to come through.

Oh hey, you're from the Chicago area too? Excellent! If you find any stores that have good selections of beads at not-scary prices, let me know; so far I've been ordering stuff online, because Walmart and Michaels don't have much besides the overpriced themed buckets, and Hobby Lobby doesn't have a great selection.

Hobby Lobby, at least in my area, is only good for theme buckets too. They used to have Hama, but for some reason, they've discontinued stocking it. Meijer is good for theme buckets too, and they have some activity packs with some pre-sorted stuff, though I'm not sure if it's really worth the price for a meager quantity per color.
