Alright, I realize there's already another topic on this subject, though it never really specified whether or not there were any other options to achieve the desired results. Yes, the ideal solution would be to buy more pegboards, but for what I have in mind, I would need 36 in total. Yes, 36. I only have six myself. Anyway, this is what I had in mind:

I'd love to be able to make this, though I will need to go out and restock on pegs in shades on blue. What I want to know is, is there an effective way to construct segments of the image, iron those segments, put them aside so pegboards can be reused to make new segments, and then fuse them all together one at a time? I'm skeptical that this would work well, but then, I don't have much experience with Perler Beads. Has anyone else actually tried this method? Did it work for you?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
