OOOOPS, wrong forum Embarassed Laughing

So anyways, I'm obviously new around here, been lurking for a few days getting MASSIVELY inspired by everything I see.

So here's my story.
My wife picked up a multi color bucket of perler beads a few months ago for our 4 year old daughter to play with, and after looking at the them for a bit on the pegboard I came to the conclusion that they reminded me of 8 bit video game characters. So I did what appears to be one of the most common things around here - I made a MegaMan! Laughing

(picture coming later)

After that I made Link from LTTP and a black mage from the original Final Fantasy.

(More pics coming later)

I also made a baby Princess Peach for my daughter's 4th birthday

(yep, no pic yet)

At this point I began thinking, "What the hell am I going to do with these?"

So I decided to make refridgerator magnets out of them. Unfortunately I got my hands on some crappy magnetic tape that wouldn't stick to the beads and wouldn't hold them up on the fridge. Out came the superglue.

Bad idea Sad superglue leaves a nasty white residue on the beads Crying or Very sad I destroyed everything but baby Peach (luckily it was buried in the mess we call my daughter's room)

Now mind you I had been doing all this on the stupid SMALL 14x14 square, fusing the beads together in sections (I actually got pretty good at it.)

So off I went to my local HobbyLobby to look for better magnets a set of beads that would have a lot of black and blue since between my daughter and I they had been decimated Laughing

Lo and behold I found the large interlocking 29x29 boards Shocked Mr. Green I only bought one at that time, but it changed my life Laughing

I redid the characters that I had destroyed and began actively searching for more projects to do. That's when I found this place.

Oh, and I already have my first EPIC project planned Twisted Evil
