Mostly I tend to pick out individual songs and listen to those repeatedly, but some of the groups/people who have produced more than one song I've liked:
Weird Al Yankovic
Matchbox 20
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Savage Garden
Lifehouse (don't judge, dammit!)
Rush
Billy Joel
Goo Goo Dolls
Musicals: Avenue Q, Wicked, RENT, Spamalot, Phantom of the Opera....actually, a LOT of stuff from musicals. Yes, I'm a geek. |

Hmmm... so many bands...
I suppose..
1: Ayreon.. (check it out if you havent already heard it!)
2: The Muse (for when I'm just plum feeling noisy lol)
3: Kate Bush (yeh really! Besides, she was WAAAAY cute when i was a pubescent teenager lol)
(Next week it'll probably be a completely different 3- I'm such a fickle bloke lol)
OMG, why just three? lol
I also like a little JeanMichel Jarre, Vangelis, and all that retro synthy stuff from my younger days.... .o0(ooo 20 years or so ago... haha, I'm getting old lol)
Other than that, I like pretty much anything that doesnt involve a bunch of halfwits making noise about rave/acid/trance/hardcore or whatever the eff they're calling it these days... yuk

Gn'R
Bruce Springsteen (mainly '75-'84 era)
The Cure
Pearl Jam
Tears For Fears
I guess that's my top five, not including the obvious classic rock choices (Beatles, Stones, FLoyd, Bowie, Zep, Hendrix, etc.). |

Someone else who loves video games & MSI [this is an edit because I was checking out members' deviant pages... so I have to add... AND NARUTO??] Impossible! I can't believe I'm not the only member of the forum who has even heard of MSI. I certainly hope you've seen them in concert because no experience compares.
My top:
1) Mindless Self Indulgence
2) Radiohead
3) Blink-182
Death Cab, Motion City Soundtrack, and My Chemical Romance are all in mortal combat with Blink-182 for third though only because I'm still quite bitter that they decided to split after making their best cd (arguably) yet.

My choices probably hint at my age:
The Beatles
Neil Young
ColdPlay (O.K., there's an anomaly)

Have you heard the Ben Folds cover of "Bitches Ain't Shit"? It is, perhaps, one of the funniest things I've ever heard. |
