I figured after seeing the favorite music I would try favorite anime series since most gamers watch anime (atleast I think so). Anyways, I'm going to list 10 since I cannot narrow it down more than that. Feel free to list yours as well. HINT HINT

1 Neon Genesis Evangelion
2 Death Note
3 Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
4 Martian Successor Nadesico
5 Cowboy Bebop
6 Samurai Seven
7 Rouruni Kenshin
8 Naruto (non-filler)
9 One Piece
10 DBZ (it's what brought me to anime so I gotta add it)

Well I've only been through Death Note & Naruto... so... ya know.
OH WAIT! And Pokemon! Hahaha... does that count?! =P
I also must say that I enjoyed ONE of the Naruto fillers... the one about the race with that guy from the Mist (I think). The fight on the ship was BA!

I really want to watch Cowboy Bebop, and my friend keeps telling me to watch One Piece, so I might do that eventually.

I'm just a baby when it comes to anime. I wasn't even interested in it at all until like a year ago, so I'd say I'm pretty proud to have watched all of Death Note and caught up on Naruto in just a year.

One piece is quite alot to catch up on i must say. I would definately throw you in the direction of Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo. Those are good solid animes in my opinion. Half of the reason I started this was to look for more anime that I haven't seen that people like and to let people just starting into it see what are the favorites of veteran anime watchers. Let me know if you want more suggestions Smile

Cowboy Bebop is the shiiiiiiiit. That series made me like anime, whence I did not (thanks to dumb animes like DBZ and Pokemon - no offense to any who like them, that's just my preference). I especially like the soundtrack, since I'm a bit of a Jazz & Blues nut.

While we're on the topic, I might as well share some Cowboy Bebop related news.

Everyone, meet my new dog - Ein:

Ein is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, just like Ein from Cowboy Bebop.

Yeah, I love that series Very Happy

Yeah, hence the name - actually, I never even saw a Corgi before Cowboy Bebop, and since then I've wanted one so bad. So I had to name him Ein, cause that's why I got him. It's amazing how well they captured the personality of a Corgi in the anime.

The only difference between my Corgi and the animated Corgi is coloring - in the anime he's fawn and white, mine is sable and white, but his head is fawn, lol. He's fresh.

No! He's mine! You can come over and visit him, that's fine...but if I see a buldge in your bag that moves, I'm tackling you.

Me and my ex-boyfriend used to play The Sims 2 obsessively, and we had a family of 2 lesbonic elves (a Blood Elf and a Night Elf, we were both WoW addicts) who had a corgi named Ein.

But anyway...

My favorite animes in no particular order, except number 1...

1)Inuyasha
2)Neon Genesis Evangelion
3)Serial Experiments: Lain
4)Samurai X
5)Fullmetal Alchemist
6)Cowboy Bebop
7)Bleach
8)Deathnote
9)Naruto
10)Shin Chan
11)Pokemon (yes, it has to go on this list cause I've watched it since I was like 9)

Ahhh! I'll have to teach him how to escape from duffle bags, haha. Of course, he may figure out how to escape from his room, haha. He just learned roll over, but he starts before he fully lies down, it's great. I'll see if I can get some good video of him to show you guys.

Back to the Animes, obviously, I'm all about Cowboy Bebop, but here are a few more I've been known to watch:

Fooly Cooly (Furi Curi, FLCL)
Trigun

That's really it...like I said, I'm not in to most Anime, but CB and Trigun are fantastic.

I saw Kassidy's post and I had totally forgotten about Black Lagoon. Levy(Revy) not sure which it is, was one of my favorite characters in all of anime. That was such an awesome show. I'm currently watching Soul Eater and it's a pretty interesting show so far. Lastly, I also really enjoy Hitman Reborn except for the massive amounts of filler episodes.

P.S. We will find a way Doc Twisted Evil

Ahhh! There are so many anime that I still need to watch!! Moribito is my favorite new series on Adult Swim. Watch it if you haven't started to yet- I can already tell it's going to be good (after watching 3 episodes so far) and the animation is really pretty!

Here's my favorites:

Bleach
Blood +
Cowboy Bebop
Death Note (best series ever!)
Full Metal Alchemist (yeah!)
InuYasha
Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit
Naruto (non-filler, except for a few of the funny ones in there)
Negima!
Pokemon (but not the new ones with the voice changes, though. Ash sounds so stupid now.)
Samurai Champloo
Shin Chan (I dunno if this counts, but it's hillarious and I love it)
Studio Ghibli films

...I think that's about it! There are some good suggestions on here for what I should watch next...

Sorry dude - anyone who liked DBZ probably did so back in 1994. I mean, I was in 5th or 6th grade then, so I might have liked it. It's just a whole lot of charging, a lot more talking, very little fighting, and no decent storyline whatsoever.

What's to like? Or were you being sarcastic? Laughing

I like DBZ Embarassed

I like the charging and fighting lol. So mindless and popcorny. I started watching it in 2000 when my orientation roommate in college showed it too me. So that was my gateway anime. Even though when I was little I watch Sailormoon, Ronin Warriors and Voltron, so it's hard to say which was the first.

I could never get into DBZ. I almost feel like I got left out of some cool club because of it.

Yes, I'm well aware. Its just kind of awkward when my dork friends start talking about some character and Im like "...Who?"

Its the worst when they start talking about the live action thats in production right now. It brings back all those dorky feelings they've hidden inside themselves all these years.
