I haven't been too keen on Funimation's dubs recently... A few years ago I would say they were definitely the best, but now I have my doubts.

seeing what you listed as some of your favs i'd suggest either getbackers or maybe rahxephon. i can't suggest anything else becuz we seem to have very different tastes in anime but i think you'd like getbackers a lot although i haven't seen the second season so i could go south after the first, but its worth a watch to pretty much any anime fan.

I've seen Rahxephon, but i might try Getbackers. I also remembered that I haven't watched Trinity Blood, so hopefully those will hold me for a while.

I'm (mostly) old school. There's something sad about anime not being made with real cels now. I'm much more of a gaming fan than an anime/manga fan these days.

No particular order except for the first.

Sailor Moon
Magic Knight Rayearth
Fushigi Yuugi
Escaflowne
Shoujo Kakumei Utena
Cardcaptor Sakura
Excel Saga
Kyou Kara Maou (until it got stupid around episode 60)

KKM is the most "recent" anime I've watched... scary.

Hm, well I think my favorite anime series would be Tenchi Muyo. The version that ran on Cartoon Network was censored and chopped up a bit, and the dub was mildly terrible, but fortunately I own all of the series on DVD, so yay for that I guess.

I also liked Outlaw Star(on DVD of course), and Trigun(can't find on DVD). Currently watching Desert Punk, which has a really unlikeable main character in my opinion.

Demon Detective Neuro(or whatever the title is) is also pretty good.

I've not really gotten into most of the newer or more popular anime series.

Yay for fragmented post structure.

I actually thought Desert Punk was pretty hillarious. I actually am trying to catch up on One Piece now and once I catch up with that I'm gonna watch Trinity Blood.

I love the Punk. his antics are one of the reasons i started buying newer anime. i have 2 pictures from that show on my entertainment center right now. and i like tenchi but the original OVA's and their story line is much better then the retelling full length run.

I've been a fan for about eleven years, since I was 13...and only now just finished it. I was finally able to purchase all the seasons one by one from Best Buy, but it took a long time for them to finally get to season 7. And I really think they only did because I happen to live in an area where it'd sell the best (the greater Seattle-Bellevue area)
