Yeah, it's the number one played system in my collection - except I just popped Chrono Trigger in, so that could easily change in the near future.

I was working on all the Phoenix Wright gamed, as well as Ninja Gaiden on master ninja mode, and Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrows. It is an addicting system, especially since you don't have to leave your bed to play it Very Happy

I believe Rhapsody just recently game out on DS, but I'm not really sure if you were a fan of that game. It was sort of a quiet release game for PSX.

New DS system. The screen is slightly bigger, there are dual cameras in the system, an SD memory card slot (at the expense of the once convenient ability to play GBA games), and a wifi internet connection, I believe...Basically, its like an iPhone with no phone and the ability to play DS and DSi games (once released with the system). I could be wrong so you might want to check an official source for all the specs.

Yeah, I dunno...Nintendo is renound for keeping costs down, considering every consecutive console or handheld they've released has cost about the same as the previous one, despite inflation. What they need to do is know when to stop innovating. They're good at that - too good, to the point where they include things that are unneccessary at the cost of the things that everyone wants. Either that, or they're pure evil these days, releasing everything to not include the one thing everyone wants...who knows. I'm a NES fan boy, but if Nintendo goes too far with their "innovations" I might have to stop playing videogames all together, cause then Ill have just lost faith in humanity.

The only downside being that the concept designer neglected to include a headphone port.

BUT, if you were to combine that with solid surface speaker capability, wouldn't have to worry about unplugged mode.

All that said, I only recently upgraded to a DS Lite, and I've actually found that in spite being very happy with portability and improved screens, the D-pad is terrible for pulling off diagonals for some odd reason.

Tell me about it! I thought I would never play video games again because I just couldn't pull off Sabin's bum rush!! I felt like such a noob until I realized it was the fault of the D pad.

Well, once again, that's Nintendo's "innovation". I guess they figured that since most of the games would use the stylus and not the D-pad, they wouldn't have to design it to be as solid...however, for people that use the DS to play advance games, and a lot of DS specific titles that use the D-pad in excess, they're seeing the fault in that decision...kind of like the shitty hinge on generation one DS Lites.

I'm having no trouble with the D-Pad on my lite. I use the D-Pad for as much as I can on the DS too.

I don't have trouble with the whole D-Pad. Really it's just the diagonals. I played all of LEGO Batman with the D-Pad, and it was fine.
