Yeah, i'm a completly newbie, since 5 days non-stop beading :-)
i have found this page, when i was looking for sprite sheets. (i was designing bosses (6 of 8 ) for the upcoming hack called megaman forever, programmed by inge gjostol).

I have started with megaman, my favourite game series (only classic, the rest is crap IMHO).
So, here is the result of 5 days working...
so, we have here megaman, roll and dr.light (or right, if you are from japan ;-) )
and on the other side we have all the megaman 1 bosses, including timeman and oilman... of course there is dr. wily on front of these robots...
so, i'll be back!

roll? ahyeah, i've seen her beaded some times...
here is my progress so far...
now i have to stop for 21 days, because of military service...
then i'll be back for more beading action :-D

I really, really like the concept of making a wall of sprites like that..I've kind of been wanting to do something like that myself, but like..using the features of my wall to make the scene.
For example, get a climbing animation of a sprite and having it go up my windowframe or something similar.
I love the megaman wall. Very colorful sprites, and they look great. Are you using just Perler beads?

Hello Fuzzbutt, i use mostly hama beads. and some gütermann beads as well. here in switzelrand its not that easy to get these beads, we dont have perler, as far as i know... |

Being a huge Mega Man I obviously love them.
Are you going to do the Stardroids too?
I hope to decorate my walls like that as well once I start. One question though, how do you hang these on the wall? |

From what I've read, a lot of people use double sided tape or blu-tack for the smaller sprites. For larger sprites, I've seen people use small brads (nails) to tack them into the wall. They're hardly noticable.

ah, the sprites are getting bigger and bigger. hope my pattern doesnt distort :-)
(it looks already distorted on the picture, because of the camera)

I love the Mega Man sprites! They look good and look like a lot of fun to do, too. Only ever did Gyro Man myself, but this is sweet. Seriously - great job!

i'll do the whole classic series, 7-9... and maybe the six remainig bosses from rockman & forte... |
