my project right now, a murloc from WoW,

i've also done some.. yeah. earthingies, not so fabulous, but, what the hell ;D

thanks for the patience and sorry for being stupid Razz at least i really do hope it's working now.

I can't get these images to come up, either.

Come on, give it another try...don't keep us in suspense any longer!!!

As long as it's Corgan from the Smashing Pumpkins, not from Zwan...

Those are great! That Mario project especially is impressive, I'd love to see more of it. I also like the Billy Corgan picture -- I think I'd like to do something like that, but I dunno who the picture would be of.

Very nice. You kept us in suspense long enough, haha. I especially like the team effort on the SMB piece. I want to do one like that but in 3D, that'd be pretty sweet.

And great Bowser! Where'd you get the sprite for that? Razz (j.k)

I LOVE your Robotnik's and Billy Corgan looks amazing!!! Did you just play around with the color then put the grid over top in Paint/Paint shop pro? I want to do something like that but I haven't had a fun time trying to get a picture to cooperate with me for some reason. AWESOME JOB!!!!

Thank you for the kind words ;D yeah, it did take time, but it was, sure as hell worth the while, right?
Yeah, i'm really proud of my Billy.. <3 and yeah, did some things with the colours and so, and "pixelated" it in paint Razz i'd like to do more things like that, but, as you say, it's hard to find good pics that fits for beading.

Saturnine13; i'd try to find some good pics of the SMB, haven't got to many pics myself, and it's all in a big pile in some kind closet or something right now.. hard to have some good spot to fit 25m in..

and yeah, i'm in love with Robotnik, and haven't seen anyone else doing him (haha). the biggest problem now is frames.. have got to buy some goodlooking frames for all my crap Razz

and yeah, bowser is pretty goodlooking, doc ;D

Speaking of finding room for all the bead art, I pretty much just put a few thin nails into the wall, through the open holes on the pieces. I have a lot of my stuff on my walls all over the apartment. I've covered nearly every wall in my entry way/kitchen. Plus most walls in my bedroom, with the bigger stuff. It's way addicting so to anyone just getting started, plan ahead...faaaaar ahead.

haha, that's great. but i'm afraid they're falling apart if i don't iron it ALOT, if i just hang them up with nails..
but yeah, i've got plenty of walls, so it's looking good in that way at least :p
thanks for the tips, however.

it's been a long time and i haven't done very much, but i guess it's time to show the little things that i actually have done.

first, another Robotnik, and also bugs bunny (and yes! I also made the lemmings.. Thank you! )

and then, a simple, but goodlooking, lion, from the Greatest game ever, Giana Sisters.

And then, i read about the contest just a couple of hours ago, which is sad, but hey, i thought it would be funny to try for myself, and it turned out pretty nice, i think, so - here i am!

And, another man in my heart, Tom Waits. and now my problem is to find a frame for him.. don't even know where to look for one that size.. oh, and he was missing some beads at the moment of the picture taken.. but he's whole now, at least Smile

Your portraits are absolutely amazing. And that Mario project is rather awesome. I want to do something like that myself one of these days.

Third! And Tom waits is the man. If people give me a hard time about smoking, I just tell them I want to sing like Waits when I'm older, haha.

I'm glad you keep the portraits Gray scale. I think something that magnificent would loose alot of it's greatness if jumble with a large dispersion of color. Great great work on your sprites.

Oh, thank you all guys! Smile

And, oh yes, DoctorOctoroc, a voice like Tom's... MMM! i almost want it myself.. too bad i doesn't smoke nor drink tons of litres of whiskey..

Crausse, yeah i think colour would make it look cheap and boring. Too bad there's just 4 kinds of beads too choose from when doing greyscale.. (at least in Sweden it's impossible to find other greys.. ).
