Using up more of that clear, huh? Ha ha. Looks good. I like how the piece sort of mattes itself with the variation between the clear beads and the background outside of the bead sprite.

Haha, Doc.. yeah, you caught me out with those clears.. I'll get them all used up if it kills me !!!

For the background, I used some green kiddicraft paper i had. ;) if you look closely, you can see where the glue has shown through!

.o0(maybe i could use come clear beads to make a frame? lol)

Why don't you just make some windows out of all that extra clear while you're at it, ha.

Cheers, Stinlin.
I don't normally frame my beads, but I'd already made two sets of "bub&bob" for my friend- who keeps accidentally breaking them..
So I figured it would be better to frame these bad boys!

how creative!! I LOVE that idea! If i start making big sprites for framing I'm definetally going to use clear for extra support! and to be able to use whatever color background is just great! you're genius!

Thanks for that, dreemsofdark! Smile
Yeh, it takes a lot of clear beads to "fill in" all the background, but it also allows you to add little things like sparkles or stars or whatever.

I bought some really bright wrapping-paper which I'm going to use as the background color for the sprite i'm currently working on. I was originally looking in craft shops for large sheets of colored paper, but i suddenly came up with the idea of using rolls of wrapping paper which is SO much less expensive!
;) there's some trippy silver sparkly wrapping paper i bought too- It looks quite funky behind my chibi sprite!

Man, the possibilities are ENDLESS!!!!!

.o0(I have the feeling that we're going to see a lot more clear beads in this forum now! hehe... YOU SAW IT HERE FIRST lol)

I made a diamond out of clear beads. It's 22 carats, ya know.

Great sprites! And I like the idea of making that one into a tabletop, I've seen something like that done with puzzles, but bead sprites would be way cooler.

Oh, and I've just aquired the perfect table for my next project! Watch this space!

Hey, WarholaStJames, do you have photos of the Puzzle Tabletops? I'd love to see 'em Smile

No, I don't have pictures. Sad I used to clean cabins at a ski resort, and I saw them there. Various landscape puzzles on the coffee table and end tables with glass over them. It looked pretty cool.
