Uh...I guess I should get around to posting actual stuff I've done, what with yammering so much at the rest of you about random topics.

That would be a slightly blurry pic of the stuff that I've made that wasn't in the newbie thread. I took creative liberties with a few of the sprites to make them look like myself (Peach), my boyfriend (Bartz), and a pimp (Black Mage). The sabre-tooth lime is an iconic familiar (which actually kind of sucks, but dude, fruit with teeth) from the game Kingdom of Loathing.

Bigger Red Robot is as close to the original comic as I could get it; smaller one is a custom (with t-shirt) made for a friend.

And here's a bunch of others.

Homer, the blue condom-dude from Cho Aniki (my friends and I discovered this game last week and were traumatized- "He MASTURBATED me!" This was the only sprite from the game I could manage, and the colors are off, but it's recognizable), Dr. Saturn, Ness on a unicycle, a blue cow, Strong Bad, and Bullet Bill.

Esper and human versions of Terra, poison mushroom and dungeon Goomba from Mario, and a set of Dr. Mario virii.

Girltype Ranma and InuYasha. I'm proud of these; they're the ones that have used the most shading and took the most time so far.

Set of playable characters from Chrono Trigger. Some of the colors were off and the ironing was screwy, but they turned out well overall.

Those chrono trigger ones look good! I can't get mine to "Feel" right when I look at them.

Chrono Trigger is tricky, cause there are lots of 'off' colors in the game. I just adjust them all down one notch, starting with the darkest available color for each one. The first magus I made used dark blue for the outline, but the second one, with black, came out much better.

Yeah I made a Chrono where I tried to use the most accurate colors available.
It's definitely accurate to the colors in the original sprite, but,
In real life, it looks terrible. I should have adjusted the colors.

That's exactly what I did with my Magus sprite -- started with a blue outline, then started filling in other colors, realized it was going to look awful, flipped it over and started again with black. He came out perfect in the end.

Those Chrono Trigger sprites are wonderful! And I heart Inuyasha, I should make one of him too.

Yup, Red Robot's originally from explodingdog, and he is also a character in an ongoing webcomic called Diesel Sweeties (www.dieselsweeties.com) whose art is in a "pixellated" style.

Oh... My... God... I have found a new comic to view... I thank you for introducing me (or re-introducing me if somehow I've seen it and not remembered) the site that is www.dieselsweeties.com

When I'm online I'll have to catch up slowly... since it's a five per week starting in 2000... so roughly 550-ish comics to catch-up... which is good because I'm almost 75% with VGCats... ^^

Yay... thanks...

Whee, more sprites.

First, the Pokemans are taking over.

I've recently joined the slavering masses and become addicted to Bleach, *after* making the sprites because I thought they looked cool.

We've all done this guy.

But this was just plain SATISFYING on so many levels.

I'm shamelessly bumping my own thread 'cos I don't want it to get lost in the abyss...

Except I'm a dumbass and sold most of the cool stuff that I meant to post here.

So...yeah. I got commissioned to do a Godzilla at Ikasucon. It was kind of large.

I just posted my picture of Ichigo and Rukia on my deviantART (my host site) and thought I would also reply here that I blatently stole your sprites, but what i just now realize is that I also did the same venasaur sprite as you... coincidentally of course...

But you should have taken pictures of the new ones before selling them or shipping them or whatever... that godzilla would be awesome...
