So, I've had quite a few requests to see what my full bead sprite gallery looks like so far. I'm normally on DeviantArt and another crafting forum for the most part, but for all of you who like to browse through what I've done; here you go, enjoy. ;) <3:

Here are some Bead Sprites made by my sister SapphiresBlue and ironed by me, SerenaAzureth:

Hi all! Smile This is my first time posting on this forum, but I have been a troller for many months. ^.^; Batman seems to be the new man about town as of lately, so I decided to make this pretty piece for some of my friends who run a comic book shop. I think it turned out pretty neat. I Made the image myself off of one of the press shots that have been floating around on the net. Enjoy! Very Happy

Here's another Batman one. This sprite, however, is done with DoctorOctoroc's flattening technique ((Your information is so valuable!! Smile ))
It's the Animated Series Batman from the game they made a while ago. Can't wait to get started on the Joker and Harley Quinn one. ^.^

So, I have this obsession with Pleinair. She is the artist Takehito Harada's mascot. She show's up in some form in all the games he works on such as "Disgaea." Utterly adorable, I can't help but make every single pixel art I can find of her. ^.^; *sweat* Well, it will keep me busy. Darn you adorable blue-haired temptress, darn you!

Batman: The Animated Series - by far the best cartoon since X-Men and Voltron...oh, I should do some Voltron!

Welcome to the forum, friend!

I recently was commissioned by a friend of mine to make a custom bead sprite of his girlfriend as Chun Li, entitled "Liz Li." Smile I think it turned out pretty nice. I have been having a lot of fun with custom sprites lately. Hope I can get to more for myself soon. ^.^;

Damn! That Liz Li is amazing. Love the quality of the sprites, too, how you've flattened them all. I do that for my smaller ones, usually the ones I plan to make into magnets, but it looks like you got it down to a science.

Actually, not that long compared to other things I've done. It probably took 2 1/2 hours to make the sprite in Photoshop and probably 6 hours to bead and iron the thing completely flat. It all works out pretty well considering how anal retentive I am. Wink

No, didn't use a program since I don't have one. Smile I did the whole thing in Photoshop myself using one of the press shots as a reference while I worked the colors. I know it can take a while that way, but it ends up the way I want it to look considering how much time I put into pixel art. ^.^

I agree. Some sprites may work with re-coloring using a Photo Pearls type program or pre-set palette in PS, but for customs, inlcuding photos and other non-sprite images, hand-drawn pixel-by-pixel is best, IMO.

Truly loved the birthday gift!
And nice work on The Joker.

Personally I will be disappointed if I don't get any beading art to my birthday this year, especally since I just gave away a relly big project.

I also use to make my beading art custom, it takes time, but you absolutely get it the way you want it.
Me myself used about two hours recolouring my dragon today, but it ended up nice, i think.

Just got this one done for myself today. It's not one of my own customs, however, the pixel art came from PixelJoint.com which has some amazing stuff. Smile When I saw it, I just had to do it in preparation for Halloween. Yeah!

Nice Pumpkin! My girl's sister would love tahat, she's got an obsession with pumpkins and other Halloween themed art. And PixelJoint is great for ideas. Especially since a lot of the members constrict themselves to limited palettes like we are restricted to by the beads' palette.

So, I found this image on pixeljoint.com and I just have to, like "seriously-no-sleep-forever" HAVE TO do this image as a project. The moment I saw it I found it so epic that I cannot imagine the wall behind my couch without it. Razz It's going to be 10 boards by 7 boards, SWEET JESUS! I'm going to have to do this square by square if I want to have any floor space and my mind. Shocked Wish me luck!!! ^.^
