Im really impressed you decided to go through with this project. So many people want to do a big project like this and just abandon it after a while or dont start at all. I cant wait to see the finished result.

Alright, here is my long awaited update to the "EggShell Wars" project. This is the exact height of the project, it is technically 6 1/3 boards tall at 30 X 30 beads per boards (using the PhotoPearls' boards just because they place the beads a bit closer together then the Hama or Perler 29 x 29 boards). I am having a lot of fun with this project, ironing one board at a time. After I finish the next board, I iron that piece flat and then carefully iron the edges to the next piece so that it becomes one solid object. I'm trying very hard to make it a seamless piece, and believe me, it is quite easy to over iron the beads and suddenly become square and warped instead of round and crisp. I've replaced multiple sections just so it looks as perfect as is does. Yeah for anal-retentiveness!! ;P

I just finished 2 boards on the next row and hopefully will finish the whole second row in the next 2 days. ^.^

I get so excited as Bowser progressively starts to appear looming over everything in the background. He and Robotnik will just make this piece pop. ^.^

I totally agree. This is going to be such a great work. The starting art was great and it really looks like you are putting the time in to make this work amazing.

Damnit, I'm already wearing socks!

Yeah - this looks amazing so far, and I imagine it only looking more amazing as you get further.

Alright, my newest update to the "EggShell Wars" project. It is getting pretty big and it's not even at the halfway point yet ^.^; *Sweat* I was pretty angry because I burnt a whole square and half when I was connecting one of the pieces (that's what I get for being distracted), but I just cut it out and redid the burnt section. It once again looks beautiful and fine and I can continue. : P Well, after I get my new shipment of burgundy hama beads kinda underestimate that one. : P

Found my Deadpool! Glued a magnet on that sucker and now he's not going anywhere except on my fridge. ^.^ Did a Carnage in my down time as just another thing to probably give to the Comic book shop. Once again, these sprites are attributed to the Wee section of PixelJoint.com, check them out!

I don't blame you for re-doing parts of your "EggShell Wars" project that didn't turn out to your liking... Let's hear it for perfectionism! I've been known to whip out my Swiss Army knife and cut out parts of an already-ironed piece, cram unironed beads in the space(s) and re-iron, especially if it's a large piece on which I've spent considerable time. Your finished piece will be all the more impressive! Smile

the very tip of the sword got warped when I shifted the board from underneath it too fast, but really it's only minor compared to what could have happened. Smile Still could enough to call the power of Thundara from. lol
