Not only will doing this square by square leave you room on your floor, but it will make putting it on the wall that much easier.

That thing is massive. Best of luck to you when you decide to start on it.

So, I found this image on pixeljoint.com and I just have to, like "seriously-no-sleep-forever" HAVE TO do this image as a project. The moment I saw it I found it so epic that I cannot imagine the wall behind my couch without it. Razz It's going to be 10 boards by 7 boards, SWEET JESUS! I'm going to have to do this square by square if I want to have any floor space and my mind. Shocked Wish me luck!!! ^.^

Oh lord, good luck on that one.
My Patapon was 10 boards by 3 1/3 boards, and was huge enough, and that was a easy one, since it was in few colours and not really a complicated picture.

I'm really looking forward to see the result.

Do you mean you're gonna do it square by square as in Iron them all seperately then place them together in a frame or something?

P.S. I think it will be awesome and urge you to start NOOOW! Very Happy

This may be a great opportunity to try a layered piece like my Gutsdozer or Skull Castle. Think about it...all those koopas and robotniks in the foreground, bowser and eggman looming in the background, with the big sky in the back...that would be fantastic.

Ok. So I finally got my starter set of PhotoPearls which allowed me to have an even greater palette to work with for this project. It took a while to map out which colors from all the great and obscure companies (Perler, Hama, PhotoPearls, Nabbi, Fuse Beads) to use so I could have the best results. This is my first 2 out of 70 (dear sweet jesus!) boards that I have completed. I've been using the 30 x 30 peg board that came with the PhotoPearls so far for since they place the beads just a tad tighter together in my opinion then the Perler 29 X 29 peg boards. This is going to take forever, but I love it so far!!! <3 Very Happy

As well I decided to put up some of my other stuff I've pumped out in the past. Enjoy! ^.^

This was the second sprite I ever made, pretty darn flat for a second one. Plum from Chobits is always so cute. I wonder if I should go over and close up the slightly open beads sometimes,...oh well...

Yeah FFVI! I love you soooo much!!! And chainsaws, you just can't leave home without one sometimes. Razz

Still working on my giant project, but in the mean time, here are some more quick works that I've done over the past couple months. ^.^

Hazzah! Mario fridge! Always need one of those. Alas, however, I just sold all of them off to a comic book shop.

Yeah comic books! I got a Deadpool floating around her somewhere to go with the Cable if I can find him...

Sweet Captain A and Cable! You need to make him a little Strife mask, haha. Where did you grab those sprites?

I got them from the "Wee" section of pixeljoint.com. They have A LOT of chibi marvel sprites there and I love them all. Smile

Yay!!! Another fan of Pixeljoint's Wee Project. I have about forty-something Wees sitting on top of the chair rail in my dining room. I finally made enough to go all the way around the room. I'll post some pictures as soon as we save up enough $ to buy another digital camera...(My 6-year-old daughter talked my husband into letting her play with the camera and she accidentally dropped it into the cat's water bowl Crying or Very sad )

Decided to put up a couple more random things before I unveil more of my "EggShell Wars" Project either tonight or tomorrow. It really is coming together nicely, especially now that you can start to see the almighty Bowser! ^.^ Hazzah! And thank you so much Michelle (callahan13) for keeping my bead supply continuous. Wink So anyway, here I go...

Zero and Megaman X, I know everyone's done one at least once, but aren't they fun? Laughing

Here is my own Freakazoid. I started watching the cartoon while beading my epic project and decided to try and find some sprites of him. I could only find a chibi custom one that really didn't look all that convincingly like him so I made my own. Quick and easy, it makes an awesome magnet and homage to an old cartoon. R.I.P Freakazoid, I will miss thee... Crying or Very sad

Man that sucks about your camera. Sad I Dropped mine from a pretty high height recently and thanked the lord that it was untouched. I use mine constantly for reference photos for animations I work on (my actual profession. lol) and have no clue what I would do without it. Nor would I want to fork over more $$ to buy another quality camera. Shocked

My buddy and I used to make home movies and in the middle of shooting an action sequence, he dropped his video camera - the funny part was, he wasn't moving around or actually shooting at the time, he just dropped it out of sheer stupidity...that sucked.

Needless to say, we never finished our sequel to "The Jesus Movie" haha.

I would like to see Part One of the Jesus Movie, Doc. That's awesome.

& how about that Megaman being AMAZING! I'm not even 100% sure why I love it so much, but I think it tops most of the Megamen I've seen of that size. Just wow!

Well, unfortunately, we lost that too...see, the tape with "The Jesus Movie - Part 1" on it was in the video camera when he dropped it, and the door was stuck. When he got the camera back from Best Buy (after they told him they couldn't fix it), the tape was gone...it sux, I know. What's worse is, he had the backup on his computer from when we edited it in iMovie, but his computer crashed the following week. Dumb luck, that...

But here's the basic idea:

Cast:
I play the evil guy, my roomate, Zach, plays the good guy, my friend Becka played his daughter, and our buddy Scott played Jesus (naturally, since he had long brown hair).

Plot: For no good reason, I kill Zach's daughter. Jesus gives him a vision of this in his sleep, but we don't know it's Jesus yet. Zach wakes up and searches me out to battle, Samuri style!
Zach and I dual it out (which took about 20 takes to piece together and get the coreography right), and he pins me down, but decides to spare my life. I use some sort of "Force" power to retrieve my sword on the other side of the room and dishonorably kill him, after which I am visited by Jesus. He wrecks me and throws me into a chair, which I tumble over, than he whispers into my ear, walks towards the door, jumps into the air and vanishes.

Haha, that was it...

As for the awesomeness of that Mega Man, I believe the charge-blast contributes a lot to that.

HA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Oh the Jesus movie would have been deserving of an Oscar for sure. How unfortunate. I guess the world just knew that it wasn't ready for the epicness that was the Jesus Movie and therefore had to take all actions necessary to prevent its existence.

& I concur about the Megaman. That must be it. Very nice, Serena.
