ok here are my very first creations...

I started with midi size Hama's but wanted to try the mini's also and here are the results...
Midi's are nice and relaxing Smile Mini's cause braindamage! (I have box that contais about 15000 mini's in all the 48 colors)

first mushrooms from Mario, midi and mini size so you can see the difference

Pacman ghosts, midi size

Hamtaro, midi size

next I want to do something bigger with mini's. hope my brain doesn't melt Razz

Are the mini beads of a similar material? Are they as soft or are they harder?

Were they difficult to iron?

I do applaud your ironing technique. It all looks very uniform!

mini beads are a bit softer than midi's and also you have to be more careful with the ironing since they are thinner.
I didn't find them too hard to iron compared to midi's but only done those tiny mushrooms.

I was a bit worried about the ironing but it seems it turned out ok so thanks for the compliments Very Happy

Hmm...

I bet those mini beads could be used to make some cute jewelry! You should put a pin backing on one of those mushrooms. You can probably find the jewelry equipment at a craft store.

not a bad idea! Smile

last night I started new thing with mini's...omg I made it several hours and still only managed to do the outlines. searching the right colors from the box of 15000 beads and all the available colors really slows the process Razz and wait until you see how small this new thing actually is. *ashamed*

I have now spend 2 nights just trying to separate solids and transparents and still have lot to do Razz

pichu, mini size

added a match to the picture so you can see the actual size better

really like the results but lot more work to do than ones with midi beads. also they are really light and easily fly away Razz

yesterday it happened, the thing I have feared since I started working with mini's. someone pushed the table not much but just enough and almost complete rattata was destroyed. not a single bead in place anymore... Sad have to start over.

How many Sprites can you make until you have to use a new pegboard? Cause I've tried it with mini beads and after 3 pieces I couldn't use it anymore.

are you ironing it too much? too heavily?
never had any problems with pegboards, yeah i'm still new with these but still.
with mini's you can't use as hot iron as with midi's

only thing i've had problems is the lightness Razz even breathing can be dangerous.

Very nice use of the mini beads... I have a 5000 bag (48 colors), and I can't even sort them to create anything... where did you find the mini pegboard?...

Great job though... truly...
