So I made my Terra Esper today and have decided to make my very own section in the Member's part of the forum. I'm in the process of moving right now, so I won't be making very many, but after I'm done with my move I plan to finally buy some connecting pegboards and more beads and get to work. Very Happy

Mog the Moogle from FVI

Black Mage from FFIII

Terra in her Esper form from FFVI
I sort of customized her sprite, but by that I mean I only added like 5 or so pixels to the ends of her hair on the right side because I didn't want her head to look so square.

Metroid!! I'm copied this from a bead sprite that someone else already made, and I THINK it's their custom one so if it's yours let me know so I can credit [and thank] you.

As a bonus picture, I give you... Gracie v. Metorid

One of these days I'll get around to taking a picture of the Boo that I made for my boyfriend. It was my first bead sprite ever.

I really like that Moogle. All that clear around him was a nice touch.

I hate moving. I always lose something while moving and it takes so long to unpack.

The metroid's not a custom sprite; it's from the original NES Metroid

Thank you, Kyra. I've never lived in another city before, so I'm pretty much a wreck right now. Let's just hope that I don't lose anything because I'd probably implode [because exploding is so overrated]. =P

& thanks for letting me know it wasn't a custom. All I found when I looked up metriod sprite was the bead sprite, so I'm quite surprised it wasn't a custom drawn or something. =) Good. Now I don't feel bad about making it.

So I FINALLY got a picture of Boo. I apologize for both the terrible quality of my first bead sprite and for the lack of a background better than my legs for the picture of said horrible sprite. We were in a car at night at a gas station when I remembered to take the picture, so I had to make due with what I had.

I want to make more today, but I have to start doing stuff to get ready for my big move [since I haven't started and the move is one week away]. =P

I have no idea what I'll make next because the only beads I have are leftovers from two random mix buckets. I want to do something exciting that no one has done yet... good luck to me finding that something, right?

My best advice for getting ready to move (ie packing) is to group everything together based on what it is or how important it is to you. Plush toys are more then happy to live in a trash bag for a few days. Use a suitcase for what it was made for, clothes. And everything that you use on a daily basis like your keys, wallet and your phone in a bag that you keep in your sight at all times. Being a girl, you would think this to be easy, but last time I moved I accidentally packed up my keys and total chaos ensued.

And I think Boo turned out just fine. Your ironing is a little uneven, but I haven't gotten the hang of it either.

On a side note, is Boo being kept in the car? If it gets really hot where you are, does the heat have any noticeable effect on him? Just 2 weeks ago it was 110 here, and I wouldn't dare leave a bead sprite in a car in that heat.

He doesn't live in the car. He was in the car because my boyfriend took him to his friend's house with the metroid to show them because he thinks they're really cool. =) I wouldn't dare keep them in the car either. I think Josh is going to hang boo from his guitar when he plays shows and stuff. I should probably make him a better one if he's going to do that though.

BUMP!

No just kidding. I move for good on Wednesday and will order beads and pegboards when I get settled in the next day or two. I'm still working with one 14x14 peg pegboard. eek!!

Yoshi inspired me today to make some sprites with what's left of my color palate [I think I spelled that wrong] atm. Now I'm almost 100% sure I'm done until I get my new beads though because I only have apprx 30 black left.

So here we go. DoctorOctoroc, I didn't go back to your etsy to see if you made all of these for your pokemon set or not. Hopefully at least on of them wasn't in yours. The pokemon idea was inspired by DoctorOctoroc, and the sprites are from the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games because they're the cutest ones. ;D

Charmander [made because nothing else is orange]

Pichu [made for a friend as a late birthday present]

Mew [made because I had no other use for the insane amount of pink that comes in tubs]

And that's all for now. Back to FFIV DS! =P
