I'll post some more Punch-Out boxers hopefully not too long from now. A lightning surge killed my computer, and I'm using someone else's to briefly write this. Sorry about disappearing, and I'll post Don Flamenco as soon as I can somehow get online at my house again. Hopefully it will be in a few days, and not in a few weeks. Later, 'till then. -Justin

Thank you, kindly. I'm not certain, but I think the 'plan of attack' will be:

Great Tiger
Piston Honda
Glass Joe
Mr. Sandman
Von Kaiser
Mike Tyson

That way, things alternate evenly between size, poularity, & skin color, for variety.

...Then maybe the rematch version of Don Flamenco, with the bright green gloves
and Mr. Dream, but I don't know if I'll end up actually doing either of these two.

Hey Nes! I noticed this a while ago, but as per that shot with your mame machine (or more specifically, what you've got framed on the left of the machine), it appears we both have good taste in bald bull poses! The DK/jr sandwich on the right is equally awesome. I'm really happy that you're doing all of the punch-out! fighters. I thought about doing some more, but I decided there are so many great games that for now I'd just do one per game. You should cap it off with Little Mac following bike-riding Doc.

Actually, that picture and setup isn't mine. The credit for that badass MAME setup with all those beadsprites surrounding it goes to gpinzone; that's his post, and his work. Thanks for the kind thoughts, anyway. Smile

Sorry I took so long to reply; this is the first time my browser hasn't said "Error: Can't find web site beadsprites.informe.com" when I try to access the forum, for the longest time. Has anyone else had that problem? I think it's been something like 8 weeks since I've been able to get onto this site.

I like your sprites. A lot!

I'm refraining from reciting the ever-so-popular lyrics that jump to my mind on that last one of the guy on the bike...

Nice job though, seriously!

The Von Kaiser is Zaghrenaut's and the Doc beadsprite is AnimeFur's; both of those beadsprites are already on this site, actually.

Yep...the ever-famous NSMB song. So wrong, yet undeniably catchy. Laughing

Oh yeah......well......"Winner takes it all, loser takes the fall". Even though it wasn't from a Rocky film, it's still vintage Stallone.

I know these Punch-Out boxers are probably getting pretty boring to you guys, so my next pictures will likely consist of smaller NES & SNES beadsprites that I've yet to see made on here or at dA.

I for one love your old school punchout creations. I am patiently waiting you to finish the complete set. Please continue.

Thanks. I'll likely still finish all the MTPO opponents out.

I just wanted to break up the monotony a little and pay respect to some other NES/SNES games I grew up loving. Most of which are either underappreciated altogether, or just games/characters that I haven't seen beaded either here or on dA yet.
