You know, about three days into this thing I was actually wishing that I had done level 20 due to the fact that at level 00 the bottle is nearly empty and consumed an enormous amount of black beads...a level 20 bottle has something like 80 virisus in it which would have conserved the precious black beads and made the picture more colorful besides, so, yeah, you got me on the slacker part, if by slacker you mean "in too much of a rush to consider the future aesthetics of the finished piece".

Wow. You know, this piece is one of those pieces that just make me stare. I love it. I mean, I’m looking at this like Gutsdozer and the Zeromus sprite. It’s so tight. Smile Nice job!

Did you iron it in pieces? It does kinda look like it in some spots – how did you get it to stay together afterwards?

Wow, that is quite a compliment comparing it to such things as the Gutsdozer and Zeromus...I am happy you enjoy it so much, and thank you again for the compliments, truly.

Yep, I did iron it in pieces....and its not together yet, I just set all the pieces down to get a picture.

I knew I saw your avatar sprite somewhere! My girl and I were playing Darkstalkers last night for the Saturn and she is my favorite character in the game. I just kept thinking, where did I see that sprite before?

Hehe, yesssssss Hsien-Ko (or Lei-Lei in the Japanese version) is my favorite as well, hence the avatar. Wow, on the Saturn? I sometimes wonder if anyone actually remembers that thing.

...On a side note, the actual image used for my avatar is an animated gif of her "standing" pose, where she rolls her neck around and twitches her claws...too bad it doesn't work like that on the forum.

Soooo...been awhile since I've posted anything, I'm really lazy about that..

Anyways, time for new creation, yes? It is the much loved companion cube(I honestly don't get the attatchment at all..) as several people on this site have done (I made this using OneWingedAngel's original, so thank you for that) but..actual cube! It is my first 3D sprite so it is a bit uneven but I think it turned out alright..anyways, as usual, this is made as a gift for a friend.

Now for a slightly different view!

So..hope it isn't too bad.

..Oh, also, here is my next project (to be started as soon as the beads arrive..again, doing this as a gift)

Yes, another full screenshot...bring the pain! (my right hand still hasn't recovered fully from the last one I don't think)

Thanks soo much for the comment. To be honest, im overly jealous that youve had the patience and beads to make all the robot masters. It's a dream fo mine to own them all...but youve inspired me to get back in the saddle so to say.

Well, this was done in about four-ish days of straight working on it (other than sleeping and going to work). Its nowhere near complete(less than a fourth done) but I figure I would show the progress so far...

...I don't think there's anything in the picture to give the sprite scale, but its nearly four feet long.

Hopefully I have enough beads to finish it in one go....

...back to work.

Are you ironing this one like you did the Dr. Mario level? Iron a 4x4 square and just set the individual pieces next to each other?

That is huge! I had thought of doing the whole title screen myself, but I decided if I was ever going to do it I would just do the title and the vine work.

I don't normally comment on other peoples sprites, but that title screen will be freaking amazing. I honestly didn't think anyone could do something that massive realistically, so just.. wow. One question- I see two different grey colors in the rocks. What are those?

Thank you! I will iron it just like I did the Dr. Mario screen shot sprite on the previous page of this thread, in 2x2 sections...the entire piece is in about 20 pieces (or will be) and it will stay that way. Much too large to iron all together

Why thank you! I can't wait to see more of it either honestly, just hoping my arm doesn't give out on me. Thank you again for the compliment!

Yep, doing it the exact same way. I really can't think of another way to do it...

..oh a frame is being built for the Dr. Mario one at the moment, so as soon as it is framed I'll put pictures up to show you and everyone.

Yes...it is very huge, and time consuming, and it will hurt your arm, but if you want to I say go for it...and the title and vine work would be pretty awesome to have on a wall or something. Thank you for the comment!

Haha, well then I am honored that you would comment on mine..and I am glad you think it will be amazing. Yep, something that massive can be done, and has been, as I have done a screen from Dr. Mario that is the same size as the Zelda screen will be...so check it on the previous page of this thread if you want. The two different grey colors are grey and dark grey. Thank you for the compliment, truly.
