Love it like always. Great work man |
Gotta finish the X-Wing...then, who knows. I just bead in my sleep, then I wake up and there's a De Lorean staring me down, haha.
I'm all about the nostalgia, that's all I can say. _________________ http://www.doctoroctoroc.com - It's a secret to everybody! |

Spectacular work as always.
I'd love to see a flux capacitor beadsprite to go with that DeLorean. |

First of all I should just get this out of the way Bow Whew ok now moving on. I am a HUUUUUGE "noob" at making Perler Beads/Sprites and I need your help... I have made like 4....so far. But I was wondering if you have made some sort of tutorial or something like that. Oh and where did you make your pallete I can't find a website to do that
If you could help me out that would be AWESOME!

First off, AMAZING work Doc. Your ability to think of new and creative ideas and also your ability to think 3 dimensionally have really inspired me to go above and beyond what I originally imagined was possible with fuse beads.
If it weren't for your thread I wouldn't have thought that something large and multi layered was possible.
Oh, and where is the completed X-Wing? _________________ Yes! waitaminute, no... |

Funny. I have recently dabbled into the magical world of bead sprites and one of my first projects I thought of was a SF character selection screen. As soon as I saw your go at it, I just had to register and make a comment! Although mine will ne fully equiped with all the characters and P1 and P2 markers hovering over the character boxes. And ofcourse an enlarged version of the character the marker is currently hovering over. Anyhoo. As I'm relatively new (started a few days ago) I'm not that familiar with all the different colours and stuff. So I was hoping you could perhaps tell me which brand of beads and colours you used. The skin tone colours esspecially. Because the sprites are just full of those. I'm not even sure if it's possible to get all the beads where I live (Europe). As I think they only have hama beads here. And I have a gut feeling that you're using perler beads. I'm not giving up all hope though. |
