I am in the middle of recoloring/beading something similar to the Kirby, but much more epic. It isnt that big, but I think it looks pretty awesome. Props to anyone who can figure out which sprites I am working off of.

The Kirby is driving me nuts because I KNOW I've seen it before, and I haven't really played any Kirby games before. I suppose the only thing it could be from is SSB... perhaps Brawl? I know it's not from the box. Uhh... maybe from the intro of Kirby in story mode? I'm stumped.

Here it is. I will iron it tonight and add that picture, but I always like to get a shot of it before. Someone should start to recognize what picture this is from soon.

It would have been done 2 days ago, but it took massive amounts of recoloring, plus he has very few areas of solid color so it was a tedious process. The wife is ironing him now tho, so I should add a better picture in the next little bit once it cools. Thanks for all the praise- I'm glad someone other than myself thinks it looks good.

Here it is finished, and with Kirby as well. It should be obvious what game they are from now I think, but I have many more to go to fill in this sheet.

Really nice SSBB mario and kirby, your recoloring skill is great and I like what you've done. Keep up with the good work.

Well, he may not be exciting or colorful...but here he is anyways Presenting Mr Game and Watch!

These sprites can only be coming from one game now, and there are many more to come.

AH HAH! I was right. Yay!!
And idk what world you're living in saying Mr. Game and Watch isn't exciting! He's freaking awesome. He's so often forgotten, so I'm quite glad someone decided to bead him. GAH! Your Brawl sprites are all so good!

Thanks for the compliments, the series should include all Brawl eventually. I am working off one sprite sheet which has them all so they they remain on the same scale. The problem is the coloring is done in a very awkward manner with a heavy emphasis on purple for all shading, which does not translate to beads very well. At the same time, I only have 9 pegboards, so before I can get to some of the larger ones (such as Yoshi) I need to get another batch of boards, as well as order some colors I am running low on. I have a good idea what the next one will be, hopefully ready by tomorrow.

Those are coming out wicked nice. I was going to do all the characters from that game based off a design I found on DA. However, I felt I didnt have the neccessary skills to do so at the time, nor the proper beads/beads.

You are doing great though!

It is probably the same thing on DA we are looking at. They wouldn't be so hard if it just wasn't for the massive amounts of purple used in every sprite.

Well, the posting ability has been down for a fewy days, so here are two new ones. First is Pikachu:
Pre- and post ironing

And having went and seen Batman the other night (which was amazing for those who have not seen it yet) I was inspired to create this:

Anyways, back to my Brawl sprites. The next one is small while I wait on bead replacements.

Here is a link to where all of the sprites are coming from. Doc Oc posted this quite a while back and I finally got around to making them. Four down, a fifth in the middle of production, and man left to go. Recoloring is what is taking so long. The colors fit well with the art, but as beads they wouldn't work. All shadows are purple, so figuring that color out is a slow process.
