I'm a big fan of fishes. And I have an aquarium project. I'm going to bead a background to my aquarium, form Super Mario (underground theme). so, if you want, you can help me to do this. I'm thinking of sprites, colour on the sand, stuff, d├ęcor, plants. So, come on. just come with a proposal:D

good idea. what kind of fish. if they were fresh water you might be able to find some stuff, but if their salt water i wouldn't know where to begin. but wouldn't it be more appropriate to use the underwater levels. your fish could be watched over by a blooper. in all honesty i would use black sand. if you can find some green piping you set.

Yeah, you can make some separate "coral" pieces ffrom any one of a number of Mario Bros. or Mario World games. Bloopers as well, as Malice said - or the fish. Below is an example of a piece my bro did (not perler beads, but rather giglee on canvas) using those underwater sprites as the base for the piece:

Of course, this piece has a far different feel than most SMB / SMW underwater levels, haha.

Haha, yeah, my bro actually made a few bead sprites, all from that particular piece. If you're interested in seeing more of his work, here's his website: http://www.judebuffum.com

He also does pixelated illustration and other stuff.

length: 55cm
width: 30.5 cm

DoctorOctoroc: how is it to "stretch" out the spites? To that size.

Well, I wasn't necessarily suggesting you bead that exact picture for it...if you want to, I'd just crop the picture in from the top, maybe add some to the sides, just extend the water and text and ad another fish, blooper or flying koopa on the right side since the koopa on the right side is cut off, you might as well complete him.
